Black BDSM History

21st Century

In the year 2003, the website Dark Connections was initiated. The website which contains information on Black groups, munches and Black BDSM history. Started by Master Scourge and coffee, it has been instrumental in bring Blacks and other People of Color interested in BDSM together through munches and other events. They also produced an entertaining and informative documentary of BDSM from the perspective of People of Color entitled, Kinky. That year also saw the creation of the group Black BEAT (which stands for Black Expression Alternate Tastes) by Bg Treasure, Diamond and Lady Z. In addition to sponsoring munches, they hosted conferences which included an educational component as well as social interaction via munches and conferences. They are currently on hiatus.
