Where does your sexuality come from?

This is a very interesting topic to look into, I first wanted to share a little bit about myself and my background of having a very highly sexual appetite, at a very young age. I can remember being nine years old, turning my black cable box in between the channels to (back in the 80's, when cable boxes had knob, because there were no mote controllers lol) watch the Playboy channel. I would be thinking, wow these women look like they are so happy. I remember wanting to copy what these women were like from what I saw on TV and what they were doing, to themself and to others. A part of me knew that I was too young to be watching these programs and movies. But then again, a part of me did not see it being wrong because as a family we watch shows on sex education with Dr. Ruth all the time. I grew up watching Dr. Ruth because that was how you as a family learned about sex education in the 80's. If there were questions I had this show would explain things to me, and talk about it in detail and no judgement. (This was a show I enjoyed very much, I didn't feel wrong or dirty watching this show as a child it was people who made me feel it was wrong and dirty.)(if not them then it will become the streets) Now that I am a parent, I realize that I did the same thing with my children and got criticized for doing it. shouldn't children learn and talk about sexual type of things with their love ones? Why is it wrong to openly talk about sex with your elders,If a parent’s job is to raise their children to the best of their ability, then would it not make sense to talk openly about things like sexual topics to get your education from your family?
